WRAP (Wisconsin Regional Art Program) provides non-professional artists with exhibit opportunities in a supportive and non-threatening environment. Shows throughout the state are sponsored by local organizations such as Shake Rag Alley, and feature a workshop and artwork discussion/critique for participating artists on the last day of the exhibit. State Day award winning works are eligible for money awards at the annual State Day Exhibit that alternates between Madison And Wausau WI.

AWA (The Association of Wisconsin Artists), formerly named WRAA, is a non-profit membership organization begun in 1954. AWA promotes visual art programs, education, appreciation, and recognition for its members and their communities. AWA has always supported the WRAP program which encourages the creative growth of non-professional artists. In 2020, AWA took on management of WRAP entirely and now coordinates both the local WRAP shows and the annual State Exhibit.
